Hi folks! I don’t like to have to ask for money unless I need it, and it’s looking like I am gonna need some.

I’ll get straight to the point. I’m heading to GalaCon next week, and there are some associated costs which I need to cover.

In total, I will need around £175, broken down as follows:

First off, there is the travel. The train to the airport is probably going to cost about £20 each way, depending on how soon I can book. Annoyingly, I have still not yet gotten flight detail confirmation from the con - so I still don’t know when I need to be at the airport. Hence I can’t book a train ticket til I have that info, so i’ll probably have to pay full price.

Furthermore, there’s the possible additional costs of the flight. As I’m bringing two instruments that will have to be put in outsize/fragile storage, there may be a baggage checking fee for that. That could be anywhere up to £50 for each flight, going by some research and experiences other people have shared with me.

Finally, there’s the cost of food. Thankfully this is the smallest cost, but it’s also an essential one as well. I don’t know how much I’ll need to spend on food while I’m there, though I’m told prices are fairly reasonable in Germany. I’m guessing I should need no more than about £25 to go on food to cover the bare necessities.

So there we have it! If you can spare anything, please please please do. Every little helps as the proverb goes.

You can send some money my way via PayPal here: http://derpy.me/sketchystipjar - it’s the link I have setup for tossing money my way during my live shows, but it’ll work just fine for this.

And hey, if you can’t spare anything, please spread the word, OK?

Thanks everyone :)

If you guys could help my friend, that’d be awesome : )
